Recklinghausen, April 7th, 2015. For the twelfth time, the Initiative Mittelstand (German Initiative for Small and Medium enterprises – the SMB Market) awarded the Innovationspreis-IT (IT Innovation Award) at CeBIT, the computer trade show in Hannover. Many companies were vying to have the most innovative product in more than 40 categories. This prize is awarded to companies providing innovative IT solutions and value to mid-sized businesses. Among others, keytech was competing in the “DMS/Data Management” category with their DMS solution.
The Innitiative Mittelstand has been awarding the prestigious Innovationspreis-IT since 2004. It promotes IT solutions that are especially suited to the German SMB market. A jury of 100 industry experts chooses the best software solutions from more than 5000 applicants in 40 separate categories. The 20 best solutions in each category were awarded the honor “Best of 2015”. keytech was able to convince the jury and was voted one of the best document management systems for the German SMB market and won second place with their DMS system.
This year the annual award was under the patronage of Microsoft Deutschland GmbH.
“We are delighted with this recognition. In 2012 we were also able to make it into the Top 20 with keytech DMS. Because we are continually developing our product further, this award is proof that, after 27 years, we are still able to grow and are able to offer our customers such great, new and, above all else, modern, targeted solutions. This is our incentive to always keep moving,” reports Reiner Heimsoth, CEO of keytech Software GmbH.
“For 27 years our focus has been on the integration of CAD systems with systems that produce documents. We have become a specialist in this area. There are only a few DMS suppliers that come from a technical (CAD) environment. The manufacturing sector especially benefits from our complete PLM and DMS capability,” added Heimsoth.
The award-winning keytech DMS system that is in version 13 supports many new updates, such as mobile access to keytech data (documents, items, incl. bills of material, folders, structures and files) that you can easily access from all devices.
keytech also nurtures its relationships with Siemens and Autodesk; CAD suppliers, with whom keytech has worked for many years. At this point, keytech provides interfaces with almost all leading CAD and ERP systems.
