ERP Integration

The implementation of the PLM solution into the business processes of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is becoming more and more important. Data is created once and transferred automatically. One of the main requirements of any integration is the synchronization of the master item and the bill of material. Master items are usually created and maintained by engineering (keytech) or the purchasing department (ERP). Bills of material are normally created by the engineering department based on the 3D models (keytech).

The earlier information of new and changed master items can be transferred, the faster the administrators can react and take action. Processes become more and more concurrent so that the "Time to Market" for your product can be clearly reduced.

Time delays between the engineering and production departments can be reduced by the controlled release of product and project bills of material to the ERP system leading to smoother more efficient communication. The release of engineering data can help give early visibility to production and other departments. The release and editing of long-lead time data can happen at the beginning of the project and evolving bills of material supported by multiple transfers until the final release.
